The Corona Military Banner Program recognizes and honors Corona residents and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, children, and siblings) who are serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Corps) . Military banners are limited to one banner per serviceperson and banners will be installed in May and November.

Teen drivers and their families are invited to this FREE young driver safety program on August 14th from 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. at the Corona Police Department (730 Corporation Yard Way). The course educates particpants on the causes and prevention of traffic collisions, a leading cause of death for young people. August has been proclaimed Purple Ribbon Month in the City of Corona to remind people to never leave a child in a motor vehicle. Children are very susceptible to heat-related injuries and leaving them unattended in a motor vehicle can lead to serious injury and even death. Teach children not to play in, on, or around cars and remember to never leave a child behind!

The Animal Shelter is committed to helping our four-legged friends and they need your help! The Shelter needs donations of dog/cat food, kitty litter, newspapers, towels/blankets, and toys to support the animals. Donations can be dropped off at the Shelter located at 608 Harrington Street Tuesday-Thursday from 10AM-4PM and Saturday 10AM-2PM.
